When he choked up at the end about his children, and what he has endured in his family life, it was utterly amazing television. It will the clip you will see many times. His opponent, while telegenic and slightly more capable than I’d expected, is not ready for the big leagues yet. Maybe one day, but not yet. Biden enhanced his reputation by resisting the temptation to belittle the Alaskan Governor on the many occasions when she stumbled. Fascinating TV. —Warren Kinsella
