Are we Witnessing Obama’s Campaign Implosion?

With poll numbers nosediving, Barack Obama and Joe Biden went into damage control mode this weekend.

First Obama says he “once considered joining the  military”..

“You know, I had to sign up for Selective Service when I graduated from high school. And I was growing up in Hawaii, and I have friends whose parents were in the military. There are a lot of Army, military bases there. And I actually always thought of the military as an enobling and, you know, honorable option. 

“But keep in mind — I graduated in 1979. The Vietnam War had come to an end. We weren’t engaged in an active military conflict at that point. And so, it’s not an option that I ever decided to pursue.”——–CNN

What does this mean?

It is only due to bad timing he didn’t get his chance to kill livestock, cut off ears, ravage villages, blow up bodies, and behave in a fashion reminiscent of Jenjhis Khan. —-Ace of Spades HQ

Then he says he’ll hold off on rescinding Bush’s tax cuts to the “rich” until the economy is better.

Democrat Barack Obama says he would delay rescinding President Bush’s tax cuts on wealthy Americans if he becomes the next president and the economy is in a recession, suggesting such an increase would further hurt the economy. —AP

WOW!  He’ll wait until the economy is better before he ruins it?

Then Joe Biden goes on Meet the Press and says that he believes life begins at Conception.

Senator Joseph R. Biden Jr.. the Democratic nominee for vice president, departed Sunday from party doctrine on abortion rights, declaring that as a Catholic, he believes life begins at conception. —–New York Times

After a week of being hammered by pro choice advocates he’ll clarify his statement..by stating that his belief is that Conception begins when her water breaks.

All this might be seen as just the candidates tacking to the center after their party’s convention. Which it might be. However, with the poll numbers nose diving and the mainstream media neutralized the Obama campaign will have to step up their spending. One problem.  He was the first major candidate to refuse Federal Campaign financing. So you have to start asking. How much money does he have? And will the Obamabot base still open their wallets with Obama now looking like Bush’s twin?
